Google Classroom – Parent Guidance (Downloadable Copy)

Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of our commitment to supporting pupils, we have decided to implement Google Classroom to enhance our current home learning provision.
In the event of a ‘bubble’ having to isolate, teachers will use Google classroom on a daily basis to support home learning. If an individual child is isolating then google classroom will be used in conjunction with the school website to provide tasks for them to complete if they are well enough to do so.
To get started, please follow Warren’s instructions on the following pages or click on the title at the top of this page to view the pdf.

Please note that we are aware of certain problems accessing the google classroom and hope that the video guidance below will help out.

Google Classroom Videos

2 main problems so far are:

1. Too many logged attempts into Wonde

Please ensure that your child is trying to login to Warren Park Primary School. This is displayed at the bottom of the Emoji login screen (See screenshot below)

2. When selecting the Google Classroom tile it displays previous Google login

We recommended that parents signed out of Google before children access Wonde. There was also a video in the help section on having the wrong user logged in but this is not always resolving the problem.

The easiest way to resolve this is when using Google Chrome and signing out isn’t working, is to use the option for “Incognito” mode.

To do this just click on the 3 vertical dots in the top right hand corner of the Chrome browser window and select “New incognito window”

This should allow your child to login without interfering with your Google Sync
