We were researching Halloween toys, looking at photos and real toys in the classroom.
Which one do you like the best?
Which one is best for playing outside?
Which one is best for bedtime?
In our focus task we looked at the different fabrics there are. Then we selected the fabrics we would like, to make a monster. We cut and glued the fabric onto paper so we could remember our choices.

Which one is best for a garden?
Which one is best for a building?
In our focus task we looked at how to create a template in order to build a 3D product. We used a jumper from Warren (the monkey) and looked at the shapes that we would need in order to make it.
Year 5 and 6
We were researching Gloves, looking at photos and then real gloves.
Which one do you like the best?
Which one is best for nettle clearing?
Which one is best at keeping hands dry?
In our focus task we reviewed stitching and how we can use this to join two pieces of fabric together. After we completed a row of stiches we tested it to see if we had created a tough join.
